CONNECTED Art Project

The CONNECTED project aims to highlight the inter-dependence and connectedness of us all as individuals within the Southbank TAFE community. Everyone on campus was asked to make at least one origami piece per day. The childhood favourite “the chatterbox” featured predominantly. We used pre-printed sheets featuring key words describing our connectedness to each other and our diversity.By encouraging individuals to make a small contribution we demonstrated how individual action when combined can make a significant impact. The following week we constructed and installed the 10 chandeliers throughout the Southbank TAFE campus.
