I have selected these works to sum up where I stand on what works of mine were successful. They are mostly mixed media and oils. Figures and landscapes dominate. Layers of transparency, washes and glazes abound. The figures tend to recline into the backgrounds...
The landscapes are personally meaningful, relating to Quirindi and the country I grew up with. In my mind it has its own mythology and is still a place of wonder - multi-layered and mysterious.

There is some great work here don't be too hard on yourself (in your previous blog). Pictures nver do painting justice but the depth and textures in these images seem great, they must look even more impressive in real life!
